You can choose whether it appears all the time, only during combat, or remains invisible during cutscenes so as not to disrupt immersion in the story. ## Crimson Desert gets refined controls and mechanics **Pearl Abyss** has also tweaked **Crimson**Desert’s running mechanics, one of the most criticized aspects at launch. Now, there is a control selector for sprinting: players can choose between **holding the button to run** or sticking with the original system of **repeated clicks**. On the technical side, the patch brings performance optimizations for all platforms, with significant improvements in support for **DLSS, FSR, and PSSR** (on **PS5 Pro**), ensuring greater stability in dense areas.
