If you thought that setting up a microphone pointed at the window of Rockstar North was the limit of what GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI) fans would do, get ready to redefine your concept of madness.

The saga of the "Rockstar North spy" has revealed more details, and the tactics to uncover the release date of GTA 6 Trailer 3 ranged from surveillance of luxury cars to measuring the oxygen exhaled by the developers.
Important note: This entire story is being reported by a user on Reddit. It is highly likely that this is a prank or a troll testing the community’s limits. But when it comes to Rockstar Games fans, we no longer doubt a thing!
The disappearance of the microphone and the "alternative theories"

The story began when the fan set up acoustic equipment and pointed it at a window that, according to the building’s floor plan, was the corporate meeting room “MR.03.”
However, the eavesdropping didn’t last long: upon returning to check the data, the user discovered that his equipment had vanished from the spot.

Without the recorder, the fan began to consider even more invasive tactics. In a post, he revealed that he had considered rummaging through the building’s trash cans to count discarded coffee cups or standing near the HQ with iPhone AirDrop turned on, trying to pick up executives’ names in the vicinity.
Counting cars at the Rockstar North entrance to predict the GTA 6 Trailer 3?

Not wanting to risk the trash cans, the second phase of the plan was to monitor the parking lot. The fan created a detailed spreadsheet with the cars’ arrival and departure times, focusing exclusively on the value of the vehicles.
According to his reports, traffic of ultra-luxury cars skyrocketed after 5 p.m. on June 3. The list of nighttime visitors reportedly included vehicles such as the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Porsche Cayman S, Ferrari 296 GTB, and Mercedes G-Wagon.
For him, this was definitive proof: millionaire executives were working overtime at headquarters, which would confirm that Trailer 3 was on its way.
The height of madness: Monitoring Rockstar’s oxygen levels

As if counting million-dollar cars wasn’t enough, the crazy GTA 6 fan decided that monitoring traffic required too much on-site time and switched to the “most effective passive approach: oxygen monitoring.”
He built a new device using an ESP32 microcontroller, a low-cost oxygen sensor, and temperature and humidity sensors. The logic borders on science fiction:
- The sensor captures air data every 30 seconds.
- The GTA 6 fan noticed that the oxygen (O2) concentration in the area dropped from an average of 20.91% to 20.04% after 5 p.m.
His conclusion is that the drop in oxygen proves there is higher gas consumption at the location, which means there are a lot of people breathing heavily at Rockstar North after business hours.

In short, what does this mean for the new GTA 6 trailer? I haven’t the faintest idea.
