Although the Nintendo Switch 2 catalog continues to grow, Rockstar Games seems to have kept a secret that has just "leaked" through retailers. A listing found on the buying and selling website Vinted revealed the existence of a physical edition of Red Dead Redemption for the Switch 2.

The shared image shows the classic cover adapted to the layout of Switch 2 physical boxes. Listings on sites like Vinted itself, in the UK, are often the first sign that retailers have received stock before the distributor’s official announcement.
Currently, the port of the original Red Dead Redemption for newer platforms, including the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, is available only as a digital download in the respective stores.

But there’s a catch: even though it’s a physical version, there’s a warning: “Download Code Only: Cartridge Not Included”—this is the new format for the Switch 2, where there’s only a redemption code inside the boxes.
The listing also includes the price (at that retailer) of £13.83. It is not yet known when the physical version will be officially revealed by Rockstar Games.
