From time to time, the Grand Theft Auto community is flooded with viral posts claiming that GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI) will feature LGBT pride parades on the streets of Vice City.

Because they involve topics that often spark heated debates on social media, these posts generate massive engagement. The problem is that they have no source whatsoever.

To get straight to the point: no, there is no evidence that GTA 6 will feature LGBT content.
As the renowned GTABase page on X (formerly Twitter) rightly pointed out, the community sees the same fake leaks gain traction every few weeks.
The page stated:
"There is nothing that has been leaked by any minimally reputable source, stated by official developers, seen in trailers or screenshots, or mentioned in the 2022 leaks that suggests GTA VI will feature Pride Parades."
Our share of the blame for these GTA 6 rumors
But where, after all, did people get this idea? This is where we at Portal Viciados need to take some blame.
In late 2024, during that terrible “drought” of news while we waited for GTA 6 Trailer 2, AI image-generation tools were exploding.
At the time, we started creating some fun concept art, and at a fan’s request, we generated an image of Lucia and Jason walking through an LGBT parade.
We posted this artwork on our X profile with a clear (AI) tag, imagining the scenario as a fictional mission to track down a millionaire. The intention was purely to interact with the community, without harming or deceiving anyone.
Unfortunately, on the internet, context disappears very quickly. Soon, our AI-generated image was downloaded and reposted by various pages without proper indication that it was fake.
The result is that the rumor was treated as a real “leak” from the game. Due to the high engagement this image generated, many pages with no commitment to the truth continue to recycle this false rumor to this day just to farm likes and controversial comments.
Therefore, to set the record straight once and for all: there is no concrete leak or official detail from Rockstar Games confirming this type of event in Vice City!
