In a Facebook post, composer and musician Bobby Keel confirmed that one of his biggest hits will be featured in Rockstar Games' GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI).

Bobby Keel is the co-writer of the 1980s country hit "Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behavior," immortalized in the voice of the legendary David Allan Coe.

On his social media, Keel celebrated: "Our song 'Need A Little Time Off For Bad Behavior' will be featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto VI. THIS IS HUGE!!"
The choice of the track makes perfect sense for the GTA 6 universe. The state of Leonida (inspired by Florida) is heavily influenced by Southern U.S. culture. Check out the song below:
In short, having a radio station dedicated to Classic Country playing a song about "taking time off for bad behavior" is the perfect soundtrack for Jason and Lucia’s getaways on the roads of Vice City.
