The rush to release the PC version just three months after the consoles has a logical explanation: Take-Two’s fiscal year.
- The 2027 fiscal year ends on March 31, 2027.
- Releasing the game on PC in February would allow the company to include the platform’s massive sales in its annual reports, guaranteeing astronomical numbers for investors.
Although DetectiveSeeds’ sources emphasize that the schedule may change, Take-Two’s desire would be to shorten the console exclusivity window to maximize immediate profit.
GTA 6 on PC? Take-Two drops strong hints!

This rush makes perfect sense when we recall the recent statements by Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two.
He publicly stated that the market is “moving toward PC” and that the platform will continue to be “an increasingly important part” of AAA releases. Zelnick also assured that supporting PC “isn’t complicated for the company,” which supports the idea of simultaneous development.
And Trailer 3

Regarding the highly anticipated Trailer 3, sources were unanimous: Rockstar has kept this information under wraps. The studio has drastically reduced the number of people with access to marketing schedules to prevent leaks, showing that not even those who worked there can predict the next step in the promotion.
